The Vanuatu Government officially signed the contract for phase two of the Port Vila’s Bauerfield International Airport rehabilitation works on Friday 12 May, 2017.

The project, which will commence in July, is set to modernise Vanuatu’s main gateway. The airport will continue to operate throughout the construction period scheduled to be completed by April 2018.

A highly positive step for international travellers from around the world, who will be able to enjoy time in Vanuatu.

A great improvement contracted with China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) and its joint venture partner North West Civil Airport Construction Group, and funded by the the World Bank.
